Tab Hibernator Pro is open-source software distributed under the MIT License. You are permitted to use, modify, and distribute the extension in accordance with the terms of its open-source license. However, repackaging and distributing the extension under a commercial license or selling it without substantial modifications is strictly prohibited.
The extension is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You are solely responsible for determining the appropriateness of using this software and assume any risks associated with its execution.
In no event and under no legal theory, whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise, shall the developer (Sujal Meena) be liable to you for damages, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a result of this Agreement or out of the use or inability to use the extension, including but not limited to loss of data, browser crashes, system instability, or loss of productivity.
We reserve the right to revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. When updates are made, the revision date at the bottom of the page will be updated. Your continued use of the extension following any updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Tab Hibernator Pro is committed to protecting your privacy. We believe in absolute transparency: we do not collect, transmit, store, track, or sell your personal data.
All operations of the extension run entirely on your local machine. No information regarding your tabs, browsed URLs, exclusion lists, configuration profiles, or system specs is ever transmitted to us or any third-party servers.
The extension utilizes Chrome's local storage APIs (chrome.storage.local) to store your customization settings (e.g., custom timeouts, whitelisted domains, and theme choices). This data never leaves your local browser profile.
Tab Hibernator Pro does not establish connections with external tracking services, analytics engines, or telemetry pipelines. Our listing on the Chrome Web Store is the sole point of distribution.
Since we collect no information whatsoever, we do not knowingly collect or solicit any data from children under the age of 13.
Tab Hibernator Pro is a digital productivity utility. We want you to be completely satisfied with your experience. Below are the terms governing payments, voluntary support, upgrades, and refunds.
If you purchase a paid license, upgrade, or choose to support the project via a voluntary financial contribution and are not satisfied with your experience, you are entitled to a full refund within **14 days** of the original payment transaction date.
To request a refund, please send an email to meenasujal60@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Request - Tab Hibernator Pro" and include your payment reference ID (provided in your Razorpay invoice). We will process your refund within 5–7 business days. The amount will be credited back to your original payment method.
If you have subscribed to a recurring contribution plan, you may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations will take effect immediately, and no future payments will be charged. Previous payments outside the 14-day window are non-refundable.
